The outer ring of this bearing type is of such a construction that the needle rollers and the cage are not separated from one another, so that the bearing is only press-fitted in a rigid housing with proper fit torque. Thus, this bearing type needs no snap ring, etc. to fix itself in axial direction and, in addition, is easy to handle.
